This Privacy Notice explains how Iron Winn LLC ("Iron Winn", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares personal information when you use the Sound Mind app and related services (the "Service"). Iron Winn LLC is the data controller for personal information processed through the Service.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information — name, email, password hash, profile details you provide.
• Reflection content — notes, prompts, and answers you create within the Service.
• Usage data — pages visited, features used, timestamps, approximate location derived from IP.
• Device data — browser type, operating system, device identifiers.
• Support communications — messages you send to support.

Payment card details are collected directly by our payment provider (Paddle) and are not stored by us.

2. How We Use Information

• To create and maintain your account (contract performance).
• To provide and personalize the reflection experience (contract performance).
• To prevent fraud and keep the Service secure (legitimate interests).
• To improve the Service through aggregated analytics (legitimate interests).
• To provide customer support (contract performance).
• To send transactional and, if you opt in, marketing emails (consent / legitimate interests).

3. Who We Share Information With

• Service providers and subprocessors — hosting, database, email delivery, analytics, and customer support tooling.
• Merchant of Record (Paddle) — for sale of the product, subscription management, payments, tax compliance, and invoicing.
• Professional advisers — legal, accounting, and similar advisers under confidentiality.
• Authorities — where required by law or to protect rights and safety.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Reflection content is deleted when you delete your account; backups are purged on a rolling schedule.

5. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal information, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You can exercise most of these rights directly in your account settings (including account deletion) or by emailing support@asoundmind.app. Users in the UK or EEA may also lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority.

6. International Transfers

We are based in the United States and may process information in the US and other countries where our service providers operate. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses for international transfers.

7. Security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege roles — to protect personal information. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Cookies

We use a small number of essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember preferences. We may also use privacy-friendly analytics to understand aggregate usage. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.
